Summary
Advance Marketing is a semester course and provides students with up to five (5) full credits.  This course is designed to help students apply higher-level marketing concepts.   Students will participate in a variety of real-world business projects and activities through the class itself.  In addition, students will work part-time in a paid/non-paid work-based learning program which applies skills learned in the classroom with those on-the-job.

Summary
The Advanced Sports Medicine curriculum of the Peoria Unified School District is designed to give an in depth look at the medical field as it applies to the athletics and the general population. Students will build on the information they gained from the Introduction to Sports Medicine course and investigate additional aspects of sports medicine.  They will continue to study the basic concepts of evaluation and treatment of common sports related injuries and conditions while learning basic rehabilitation concepts and techniques currently used in the field. Anatomy review, medical terminology, ethical and legal considerations, fitness, wellness, first aid & CPR training will also be addressed. Students will gain hands-on experience through various lab activities including splinting, evaluation techniques, fitness & wellness testing, modality set-up, and rehabilitation techniques. Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) standards will be an integral part of this class. Dual credit may be obtained from the Maricopa Community College system for this program at high schools offering this option. Successful completion of the program may qualify students to receive the Mastery of Subject Area Graduation Endorsement. Students are encouraged to work with their program teachers to determine eligibility.

Summary
This is a semester long (18 weeks) course, designed to provide a well-rounded and challenging academic experience for students interested in Athletic Training, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, exercise science, sports medicine, or any other related medical or paramedical field involving rehabilitation. Throughout the semester students participate in a detailed examination of the various kinesiological, anatomical, physiological, and biomechanical factors that influence the human body.

This course covers a variety of advanced technical skills often used in the plant science/horticulture industry. This course receives Biology credit towards graduation and enrollment into Arizona State Universities.  This course covers a variety of technical skills often used in the advancing industry of agriculture. Specific subjects covered include soils, hydroponics, plant anatomy and reproduction, and pest & disease control.   Students are required to conduct an occupational experience program. Dual credit may be obtained from the Maricopa Community College system for this program at high schools offering this option
