Summary
In this 3 section course participants will learn to apply Microsoft Word formatting features to create professional looking documents.  Prerequisite: Office Suite Basics class or a working knowledge of Office basic skills. NOTE: You may enroll in one  or all three sections for this course.  Participants will earh 15 hours for each section completed.  Contact the course instruction for enrollment dates and directions on enrolling.

This class begins with an introduction to the MOODLE online learning system and how it can be used to support classroom instruction.  Participants will experience using MOODLE as a student and as a teacher.  Participants will receive instruction on using MOODLE’s basic to advanced features and will apply what they have learned to build their own online student instructional support.

Participants in this course will read the book “Teaching with Digital Images” by Glen L. Bull and Lynn Bell. Throughout this book study, teachers will write a lesson plan that incorporates digital media (digital media will include, but is not limited to: using digital cameras, Microsoft Picture Manager, Photo Story, Movie Maker, and PowerPoint.) Digital copyright laws will also be discussed.
